Ageing: depending ON the vintage, this Barolo matured 20/26 months IN large wooden casks AND 12/18 months IN the bottle. The colour IS garnet red WITH orange hues due TO aging. Good texture. The bouquet IS complex AND intense, WITH slightly ethereal characteristics. ON the nose, scents OF dried violet AND rose, ripe red fruit, hot AND sweet spices. ON the palate this wine IS warm, FULL-bodied, WITH austere but quite soft tannins, savoury taste. The long finish leaves the mouth dry AND fruity. Wine WITH an excellent quality/price ratio. It expresses its maximum potential WHEN drunk WITH braised veal IN Barolo wine, venison stew AND polenta AND seasoned cheese.
